Catch
up

  • Students meet up in a VR classroom and share their weeks by creating 3D sketches
  • This includes a student check in to make a note of where they are on their learning journey and where they plan to be. This record is a great way to see how the students are progressing and is always available to parents and teachers by accessing the students Poiesis Progress site.
  • This is followed by a 10 minute play session with physical activity to get their brains primed and ready to learn

Work

  • Students work on their personal projects in a group work session at their own pace.
  • An instructor is always available to help and make sure they’re on track.
  • At the end, students make a note of what they learned and what they need to work on next time.
  • This creates a record of their progress and helps them understand how they learn best
  • Sessions are held in-person or virtually in VR/via 2D meeting platforms

Play

  • We spend another 30 minutes showing off our work and getting active with some more dedicated play time.
  • This gives kids a way to unwind and something to look forward to while they work.
